In April 2009 Games-Services filed for bankruptcy and the possibility for future ESWC tournaments in Paris looked bleak.
However the ESWC brand has been snatched up by DIP Communication, and yet another ESWC will take place in 2010.
The tournament will take place June 30 to July 4th - keeping the tradition of hosting it in Paris, however this time around the actual event will take place in Disneyland. With a total prize pool of $200.000.

Qualifications will take place in January and the goal is to gather 32 country teams for the event.
