Title :  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition
 Posted by :   Cryptic

Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling presents the various editions of the game that you will be available to pre-order.

Activision are set to take advantage of the holiday season with what we expect to be one of the top selling games this year. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition is already available for pre-order at one major online retailer in the US for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2 features custom-designed, fully-functional night vision goggles, a hardbound 'Behind the Lines' art book, special edition case, and a download voucher for the original Call of Duty game. The price tag? $149.99.

It is unclear whether there will be a Prestige Edition of the game on PC. The online retailer is not allowing pre-orders for the PC version but it is not known whether this is the retailer's decision or Activision's.

Title :  Modern Warfare 2 - Identity Crisis

It looks like Modern Warfare 2 is having a bit of an identity crisis as the first image of the Modern Warfare 2 box art shows the game with its Call of Duty handle.

Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling has circulated the first image of the box art for, what we assume is now called, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Tracking firm OTX had warned that dropping the Call of Duty prefix had lost some of the brand recognition with consumer awareness levels dropping 20% since Activision revealed the official name of the game back in March.

Despite being high on the top 50 most anticipated games list, Modern Warfare 2 was surpassed by Halo 3: ODST, New Super Mario Bros., God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII and Assassin's Creed 2.

Title :  FIFA Manager 2010 : First preview

Traditionally overshadowed by the Championship Manager and Football Manager series, Electronic Arts keep on plugging away with their FIFA manager franchise. Here we have one video and eleven screenshots of their 2010 offering - could this be where this title starts to make inroads into the community ?

With a history of putting out the worlds most expansive and biggest selling range of sports based video gaming titles it falls to Electronic Arts to move their FIFA Manager series from the subs bench and out onto the pitch itself. This new offering has not had the benefit of a press release detailing the new features but the video already on offer concentrates entirely on the online multi player aspect of the game so we can only assume that this is where most of the key changes will have been made.

Valve has released an update for Left 4 Dead which allows users to download and play custom campaigns.

Last month, the SDK mod tools were released, but with this new update, modders can package their maps into a single .vpk file, which users can install with a straightforward double-click.

Users can manage their add-ons and campaigns from within the game. Valve has also added matchmaking, leaderboards and auto-update/download support for custom maps.

Add-on Campaign Support

Players download third party campaigns as single .VPK file
Players can manage and select add-on maps and campaigns via game UI
